Digital transformation is bringing substantial benefits to railway safety, operational efficiency and reliability while enhancing the passenger experience. Yet, this digital transformation also increases the vulnerability of railways to cyber-threats. The prevalence of old systems and equipment present serious challenges.
Cyber attacks on modern railways and trains are no longer hypothetical. The combination of OT with IT leaves railways and trains exposed to potentially catastrophic attacks resulting in loss of human life and significant economic damage.
This special event will address evolving cyber-threats to global railway infrastructure, including OT assets such as command and control systems. It will feature startups offering innovative technology and approaches to the threats, as well as new processes and measures used to address these unique challenges.
The session is open to all attendees with relevant conference credentials. There is no need to pre-register for this session.
