Warren Parker graduated from the University of Maryland and was commissioned a 2d Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps as an infantry officer. He served in a variety of infantry, special operations, and staff billets including service with J3 Operations The Joint Staff under General Colin Powell before retiring as a Colonel. He is a graduate of the the US Army Airborne School, US Navy dive school, USMC Command and Staff College, National War College and Syracuse University National Security Studies Program. Awards include the Navy/Marine Corps Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and numerous other service award. He also holds a Masters degree in government from Harvard University. He has worked in banking, the defense industry and led a trade association in Washington DC. In 2019 he was made the first Chairman of the South Coast Cyber Center in Beaufort South Carolina. South Coast Cyber Center is a nonprofit collaborative organization focused on the education, training and nurturing of cyber talent along with the development of a cyber business ecosystem in the Beaufort region.
