Nataša Glavor

Head of National CERT, Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNET/National CERT, Croatia

Nataša Glavor graduated mathematics and computer science at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Zagreb. She started her career at CARNET in the computer security incident handling team. As assistant director for computer security along with her team, created the CARNET security program and introduced security testing as integral part of the service development process in CARNET. She moved to the position of assistant director for service development, where she was responsible for the development of e-Diary and other applications in CARNET, management of the .hr TLD domain registry and information security of services in CARNET. She headed the program committee of the CARNET users’ conference and was a member of the working group for drafting the law on information security, as well as the UN Internet Governance Forum, the UN Secretary General's advisory body on Internet governance topics. As an analyst in the data management team at CARNET, she worked on data analytics, data lake and databases, and learning analytics system. In July 2021, she was appointed assistant director for the National CERT, a national body for prevention from cyber threats and protection of the security of public information systems in the Republic of Croatia. The department’s main task is handling cyber security incidents to preserve the security of information systems in Croatia.
