Head of Technology Investments, Discount Capital, Israel
Ran joined Discount Capital in 2019 and serves as Head of Technology Investments, leading the organization’s direct investments in startups across different stages and domains. Ran serves as a board member in numerous startups and leads the fund’s portfolio management. Prior to joining Discount Capital, Ran served as the Investment Director of a Single LP fund focused on investments in early stage deep-tech startups. Prior to that Ran was the Managing Director of Comsec Consulting B.V. an Amsterdam based Cyber Security Consulting firm servicing large international enterprises and Fortune 500 companies across the globe. Ran is a graduate of the IDF's elite Haman Talpiot program and served as a captain in the special Intelligence Corps unit 8200. Ran is also a part of the mentors team of the 8200 EISP accelerator for early stage startups.
