With an extensive IT Security background spanning over 18 years, Daniel has managed Information Security both at strategic & operational levels. Industries he has worked include financial services, electronic payment, and consulting. Daniel has also facilitated risk management strategy formulation for large enterprises particularly in the oil services, and telecommunications sectors. He has excellent knowledge of payment card industry operations, financial service business processes and has been involved in auditing core banking applications, and mission critical card payment platforms. Daniel has extensive knowledge leading Security Operations Centre (SOC) team, in his capacity as the Ag. Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Heritage Bank, Daniel oversee a team of professionals charged with cyber security incident response, and containment. Daniel is well travelled, with work experience in countries in Sub Saharan African, and the United Kingdom. He is presently a resource person with several industry bodies, including Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Bankers Committee, subcommittee on IT Security & eFraud, Information Security Society Association of Nigeria (ISSAN) Africa, & Electronic Payment Providers Association of Nigeria, EPPAN.
