What is it about:
Learning from the Future is an ambitious cyber and EMP multi-media exercise, simulating the impact of catastrophic, global-scale cyber and EMP attacks, building on both historical and projected experiences with terror groups and adversary nations.

The Scenario:
A team of senior officials representing critical business and government sectors will function as an emergency operations group, exploring real-time response options to a high-stress, catastrophic scenario enhanced by video simulation.

As a unique feature, the emergency operations team will be challenged to learn from this “future scenario” as a “pre-mortem” – assessing the policy, investment, and planning that “would have been needed” to sustain communities and nations through such a catastrophe.

Why Attend?
In an era where cyber and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) threats loom larger than ever, understanding and preparing for the unthinkable is not just wise – it’s essential.

The EIS Council is a non-profit organization with a rich history since 2009, that bridges resilience gaps for hazards of all scales, from localized incidents to potential global catastrophes. Our staff, composed of former state emergency managers, industry leaders, government officials, and a network of global partners, is at the forefront of crafting solutions for today’s most pressing security challenges.

During the “Learning from the Future” event, we simulate catastrophic global events in the fields of cyber and EMP, leveraging the experience of senior officials from diverse sectors. This isn’t about hypothetical scenarios; these are real challenges we’ve faced or are on the brink of confronting.

Participants will engage in a stress-inducing, realistic emergency management committee simulation, forced to navigate and devise strategies for multi-sectoral destruction.
