Valmiki Mukherjee is a renowned global CISO, cyber executive, investor, and philanthropist, with a career spanning over two decades. He is known for his visionary leadership in driving global cybersecurity transformation across various sectors, uniting stakeholders from the public sector, academia, and industry. Mukherjee’s holistic approach to cybersecurity has fostered a culture of security and resilience, impacting organizations, societies, and nations alike.
In 2015, Mukherjee founded the Cyber Future Foundation (CFF), a global platform connecting business, national leaders, and cybersecurity experts. His philanthropic efforts have supported initiatives such as the Global Commission on Cybersecurity Education, the Cyber Workforce Development Program, and the Cyber Apprenticeship Program at the U.S. Department of Labor, among others. He is currently leading CFF’s initiatives, including PAC: Professional Association of CISOs, Cyber Board Book, and RSAIF: Responsible and Secure AI for Future Project.
Mukherjee’s career includes executive roles, including Managing Director at EY, where he served as Americas Cybersecurity Leader for the Critical Infrastructure & Energy sector. He is currently the Global CISO of Bounteous, appointed by the New Mountain Capital Board. Additionally, he is the General Partner at HIROC Holdings and Managing Partner at Cyfrontier Holdings.
Mukherjee holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) by ISC2.
