Kobi Ben-Aharon is a cybersecurity professional with over 24 years of experience in information security, business continuity, and physical security. After serving in the Israeli Air Force (Lt. Col. Res.), he transitioned into the public sector, where he now leads cybersecurity initiatives in the transportation sector. As Head of the Cyber Unit at the Ministry of Transport, Ben-Aharon has spent the past five years strengthening the cybersecurity resilience of Israel’s transportation systems.
Ben-Aharon holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MA in Law, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE).
