Born in Naples, he Joined the Guardia di Finanza, an Italian Economic and Financial Police Corps, in 1985. After attending the Academy, he began his carreer with increasingly demanding leadership positions. He led, in particular, important operational activities in the fight against transnational organized crime in the southern regions of Italy, such as Sicily, Calabria and Campania. He was also Provincial Commander of the Guardia di Finanza in three important italian provinces. He was promoted to the rank of General in 2019.  Graduate in Law and Science of Economic and Financial Security, in 2022 he was awarded with the honour of “Officer of the Italian Republic” by the Head of State Sergio Mattarella.  Since December 2023 he has been assigned to the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv as Guardia di Finanza Attaché..
