David Marek has over 30 years of experience across banking, private equity, and venture capital. Since 2018, he has been investing in cyber, cloud, and AI infrastructure startups, initially as Executive Director of Springtide Ventures. In 2024, he co-founded Tachles VC, a seed-stage venture capital firm backing cyber, cloud, and AI infrastructure startups, with a strong focus on Israel. The same year, he became the Founding Director of CITIF, Czech-Israeli Technology & Innovation Forum, connecting the Czech and Israeli innovation ecosystems. David is a graduate of the Prague University of Economics and Business.
