Executive Director, Center for the Study of Democracy and Governance, Albania
Arjan Dyrmishi is a security and governance policy expert with over 25 years of experience in national security, regulatory reform, and public administration in Albania and the Western Balkans. A former senior official at the Ministry of Defence, State Intelligence Service, and Council of Ministers, he is currently Founder and Executive Director of the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Governance. His work focuses on security governance frameworks, legal alignment with EU standards, risk management, and institutional capacity-building. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Siena and a Bachelor’s degree in French Philology from the University of Tirana. He is a published author and is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
